Central Board of Secondary Education : CBSE

CBSE is abbreviated from Central Board of Secondary Education and is established on 30th November 1962. CBSE is the board of Education for private and Public Schools under the Union Government of India.

Central Board of Secondary Education

is one of the largest board working in India which is also
known as CBSE which is specially dealing with X class, XII class. Central Board of Secondary
Education is dealing with Public and private school within his dominion whom head quarters is in
New Delhi, India.
The board is running currently under the chairman of Vineet Joshi and this organization come under
the Ministry of Human Resource Development.

History of CBSE:

 

  • Uttar Pradesh Board of High School and Intermediate Education is the first educational institute
  • board who was established in 1921 under the jurisdiction of Rajputana, Central India and Gwalior.
  • Latter in 1929 Government of India take decision to set up a joint board sy stem which called “Board
  • of High School and Intermediate Education, Rajputana” in which territory Ajmer, Merwara, Central
  • India and Gwalior Include. Later it confined to Central India and Gwalior. After the Independance of
  • India it become “Central Board of Secondary Education” in 1952.

Central Board of Secondary Education Establish

In 1929 due to modification in the education setup the India set up the joint Board and named it “Board of High School and Intermediate Education, Rajputana”. It includes  Ajmer, Merwara, Central India and Gwalior. Later it was confined to Ajmer, Bhopal and Vindhya Pradesh. In 1652 it changed to “Central Board of Secondary Education” and still working under this name.

Examination Conduct by CBSE:

 

  • Central Board of Secondary Education is currently dealing with following examination.
  • All India Senior School Certificate Examination (AISSCE) for 10th class
  • All India Senior School Certificate Examination (AISSCE) for 12th class
  • AIEEE entrance test examination
  • AIPMT (All India Pre medical Test) Examination
